They say memory is the mother of wisdom, they also say only those who have wisdom can understand wisdom....so do you often remember?
Remember when you were a child? Now you are a father or a mother...
Remember how you suffered from generations gaps? Now you are part of a growing generation...
Remember when you were subordinate? Now you are a boss...
Remember when you were a student? now you are a teacher...
Remember when you were passing the street? now you are riding a car...
And remember when you were driving a car? now you are passing the street....!!!!
Remember when you were sick? now you are healthy...
Remember when you needed help? now somebody wants yours ....
Were you always right? Haven't you erred? what used to annoy you doesn't annoy others?!
Do we really forget? or pretend to? or want to? or maybe we feed our egos by neglecting the past?!
And the utmost remembrance is remembering the unseen future!!...the day of your funeral....what do people say?,
the day of Judgement, the day of being questioned... when we will be forced to remember...
It's not just about remembrance, it's about remembering quite well or maybe quite enough and quite honestly...!!
If we remember enough we would care enough we would simply do what prophet Mohamed (PBUH) told us: "Non of you believes unless he loves for his brother what he loves for himself ... so we ought to ask Allah to grant us remembrance and wisdom for he who is granted wisdom is granted all the good...
